The Hey Nonny Handbook

Harriman House

Hey Nonny joins Harry Potter

Independent publisher Harriman House is hoping one of its books will cast a magical spell all of its own this Christmas, as it joins Harry Potter on the shelves at Waitrose.

The Hey Nonny Handbook was published in June, and sold out at its launch event in Waterstones. Julia Jeffries and Janice Warman's literary survival guide for women will be one of only two non-cookery books on sale at the supermarket chain. The authors' local Waitrose store in Crowborough will host a book signing event on Saturday 15th December at 2pm, and copies of the book will remain in store during the run-up to Christmas.

Janice Warman said: "Julia and I are very excited about this event and are grateful to Waitrose for their support. The Hey Nonny Handbook is the perfect gift for women everywhere. Its humour and honesty helped us both to overcome some difficult times, and we hope it will inspire grandmothers, mothers and daughters. It really is the ultimate survival guide this Christmas, and we guarantee that there are absolutely no recipes in it!"
