About the author
Holly Mead is a multi award-winning investment and personal finance journalist who has been writing on the subject for 15 years.
She was previously deputy money editor at The Times & Sunday Times and launched and hosted The Times’s Feel Better About Money podcast, which was a finalist for three broadcast and podcast awards in 2025.
As a freelance journalist, she writes for The Telegraph, The Daily Mail, The Financial Times, The Times, The Guardian and more. She was previously Head of Editorial EMEA for the global investment research company Morningstar.
