Jordan Daykin dropped out of school at the age of 12, but has gone on to become a highly successful entrepreneur, creating the building products business GripIt from scratch after he and his grandfather came up with a revolutionary way of hanging heavy loads from plasterboard walls. At the age of 18 he became the youngest person to ever get investment on the television show Dragons' Den, after securing funding from Deborah Meaden. His business GripIt is now worth more than £20 million, employs 45 people and sells its products around the world.
Still only 22, Jordan is passionate about encouraging other young entrepreneurs to create amazing businesses and actively supports them by speaking in schools, mentoring and investing. You can follow his progress and read his blog at www.jordandaykin.co.uk.
